A woman died and a man was hurt in a crash on I-64 in Norfolk on Saturday. Police say the other driver was drunk and is charged with DUI manslaughter.
A Virginia Beach woman is dead and a Norfolk man is facing DUI manslaughter charges after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 in Norfolk Saturday evening, according to Virginia State Police.
The crash happened around 6:37 p.m., around mile marker 282.5 near the Northampton Boulevard exit. Troopers said Devon Acevero, 25, of Norfolk, was speeding in a sedan when he lost control, struck the jersey wall, and crossed multiple lanes of traffic before crashing into an SUV.
