VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — One person was seriously hurt in a Virginia Beach crash on Saturday afternoon, which shut down part of South Lynnhaven Road for a time.
The two-vehicle crash happened at about 4 p.m. at the intersection of South Lynnhaven Road and Bowling Green Road. One person was taken to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
South Lynnhaven Road remains closed from Bow Creek Boulevard to Braves Trail as police conduct an investigation.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the accident.
