Over the past twenty years, Jack Crandley has lectured on subjects such as civil trial practice, cross-examination of witnesses, personal injury litigation, and insurance contract litigation in seminars sponsored by the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association, the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, and the National Business Institute.
Personal:
Jack Crandley was born and raised in the Philadelphia/ Delaware County, Pennsylvania area. He came to the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area in 1972 in connection with his duties as a Naval Officer aboard the U.S.S. Newport News (CA-148) and later the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy (CVA-67). He met his wife Ann Gwyn, originally of Wilson, North Carolina, in Virginia Beach while Ann Gwyn was teaching secondary school English. Jack and Ann Gwyn have three grown sons, one of them, John, Jr., practices with Jack in Preston, Wilson & Crandley, PLC.
